From a two-person operation to a high-performance manufacturing company with MDIS

When VoTec GmbH was founded in 2011, the company started out as a small, highly specialized machining business. However, thanks to steady demand and growing expertise, VoTec developed within just a few years into a successful manufacturing company with 40 employees.

As the company grew, so did the requirements for organization, planning, and transparency. The tools originally used—Excel and a simple inventory management system—soon no longer sufficed. The result: countless Excel spreadsheets, manual analyses, and increasing organizational pressure.

By implementing the new Haufe X360 ERP system, including integrated production planning, we have taken a decisive step toward future viability. Transparency regarding orders, capacities, and deadlines has improved significantly. I would particularly like to highlight the collaborative partnership with our system service provider: From analyzing our machining-specific processes through to on-time implementation, we always felt professionally supported with strong expertise and practical guidance.

Choosing the Haufe X360 ERP system was the result of a thorough evaluation process—and meant far more than a purely technical decision. Subsequently, based on an existing implementation, MDIS further developed the project in a targeted manner and brought the solution to a new performance level.
