Introduction

Bevy Express is an Italian startup offering beverage deliveries for private and business customers – with the challenge of implementing same-day delivery in 2-hour time slots as well as a fully integrated ERP solution.

Together with MDIS, a solution was created that seamlessly connects the online shop, warehouse and shipping processes, and real-time data management.

We chose MDIS because they were one of the few providers able to offer us an all-in-one solution. Within eight weeks, the team designed, developed, and set up a comprehensive web shop with an integrated ERP solution.

Challenge

  • Development of a comprehensive online shop based on Shopify, including the selection of 2-hour delivery time slots and ZIP code area restrictions.
  • Integration of a cloud-based ERP solution (Haufe X360) to manage items, warehouse, prices, and processes.
  • Real-time data transfer between the shop, middleware (DataSync), and ERP system for prices, inventory, and delivery time slots.

  • Automated processes from customer order to delivery: customer order → real-time transfer → warehouse process → invoice generation.
